It's all over for another year. The 2007/08 year has gone so very quick. If your Summer is anyway as good as the past year at College, well, it'll be very very good...

Before we cast our mind back on the best bits, we'd just like to say, to each and every one of our customers, THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT YEAR at The College Bar.

Over the past year, we brought you acts such as The Blizzards, Big Generator, The Saw Doctors, Republic of Loose, The Japanese Popstars, Buck Taylor and The Antarctic Monkeys; We've put on the year's best parties, such as the days after The Comm Ball, Science Ball, Arts ball, Law Ball, Med Ball, Nurses Ball, Eng Ball as well as the post exam parties at Christmas and Summer. Many of these great Parties were graced by Galway's finest - DJ Byrno, DJ Ferg and DJ Paul Hannon.

With the College year drawing to a close again, we thought we'd resurrect this Youtube movie from last year. If we have enough spare time on our hands over the coming week or so we might even do up and 2008 versions. If you have any images you think would suit, pop them in an email to collegebar@nuigalway.ie and will try and include them.

Now, back to the books. Exams are just around the corner...

The music of Britain's most explosive rock outfit. Except the musicians on stage are not the Arctic Monkeys, Sheffield's internet phenomenon. Close your eyes and they might as well be though!! They are the Antarctic Monkeys, four blokes from Wolverhampton giving a brilliant musical impression of the real thing, bundles of energy, guaranteed to have you jumping around going nuts from start to finish!!
